Just had to show this !!!

Wish I could claim credit for this but it's the work of Angela ,

who brought her work in to show me on Friday and

I absolutely adore it .

The doll's name is coinsidently "Lily"

and Angela even felted and decorated the fabric before making her dress.

How lucky am I that she has lent me her embellishing machine to try before I buy ---

Will show other super projects of Angela's soon .

Late Entry !!!

For The Ribbon Girl's Fourth Colour Competition -Pink and Green

I've made a simple choker  on a base of the pink seam binding (thank you Kath )

and layered up with green and pink trims.

The pink heart pins and bling buckle are also from the Ribbon Girls.

I reposition the bow for the photo so it would show up and will reattatch to the centre front .

The competition finishes at midnight so you still have time to enter ------

actually the photo was taken in M&S coffee shop ,but we did make the card this afternoon and Lily will show you her work after mummy's birthday .

What great service and price from Cutting Edge Crafts.

Will now be able to cut wool fabric and felt, however not opened it yet 'cos as you know I can be easily sidetracked and have other work to finish first -----

but maybe should try it just to make sure it's ok  ?

Stripped and Ready for Action !

The lampshade has been stripped of it's trim , stamped and...........

the embroidering has begun, however it will have to fitted in amongst other work,

but will show it when finished .

Keeping it simple - backstitch and chain stitch  on flowers -

to give a more homespun look.

Have other plans for these Hero Arts stamps, other projects following soon.

Christmas Again !!

If you've been to Kath and Debbi's blogs you'll know we got together last Friday for the first time since Glasgow and a big thank you to Debbi for my present of a

Sir Timmitastic Holtz Apron ----love it !!!

Isabel was down from Rothes on Saturday to go to Kath's demo day at Simply Create.

As usual Kath treated us to lots of tips on how to produce beautiful cards like hers .

And good to catch up with lots of known faces x

Had another sewing day today ,with some more gorgeous fabrics and trims !!!!

The shiney fabric underneath is actually the most fab silver !

Still have to catch up visiting workdesks from WOYWW ,
