Sorry Peeps !!

Ooops  I'm in trouble !!!

While Jacqui was away in Norway

I filled up Kath's Workshop but to dig myself out a hole I grovelled to Kath

(Well grovelled may be an exageration 'cos Kath is so lovely )

and she has agreed to do a second workshop hot on the heels of the first.

So please save my job and book a space !!!

So much for good intentions ------ !!!

really was trying to blog every day but alas and alack

not managed it ---sorry.

Have been REALLY busy .

Back at work on Thursday and Kath was out for a chat/coffee /crafty shop

and of course lots of laughing !!

keep your ears to the ground  and eyes pealed

as Kath's demo day and workshop days are soon to be released

now  Jacqui is back from Norway --

so events and workshop lists on their way !

Had a super Birthday party instore on Saturday

with seven lovely girls-( average age ten)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMILY

after which they had a bbq and camped out and

 braved the weather Saturday night and survived outside in the tent

 through the high winds and belting rain -well it was like that here in Alford !!!

There is to be a workshop to follow this party --

ok who forgot to take pics ???

(Did a sneaky workshop for two on Friday for Wendy's

granddaughters who were up from England and so keen to make the album --

will take pics tomorrow !!)

Busy day in the shop today -lots of crafty shoppers ---

a bank holiday wont stop us buying stash !!!!!!!

and still half the workshop to prep --

don't tell Jacqui !!

Will be with Moira on Wednesday for the launch of

ReVamp

her exciting new instore shop at the Aberdeen Antiques Centre

hope if your in this neck of the woods you'll come and join us .

 On a visit to chum Isabel's a trip to the

Olive Tree Chocolate Factory at Mosstodloch was on the cards ---Yummy !!!!

A bit more fattening than the Moda Cakes eh ???

Lee and Kevin also do Chocolate Parties

so you can have a chocfest in your own home !!!

These little added extras making a flyby appearance on the "Jenni Bolin" tag. Punched from JB papers , 3d layered and adorned with bling. You can also buy ready made ones instore.

Another Tiny piece of Cake !!!

This time made from only two slices from a

Moda Layer Cake ,

a wooden ring by Tilda and stuffing

all available at Simply Create don't you know !!!

mmmmmm ???  twenty Christmas presents  !!!

or two and a quilt ???

I should maybe take a leaf out of

Moira's

book and give her a name.

Penelope / Prudence or maybe Priscilla Pincushion.

She is actually a sample made  for CR8 girls group

workshop --- date to be finalised shortly

and see the fab article  Judy

has had published in the September issue.

A very talented lady and the good news is she will be back at

Simply Create in September so not long to wait for another of her

terrific workshops !

We did lunch, talked nonstop, laughed,

had coffee and cupcakes

and of course shopping!

A fab day.

"Tagged On"

The brief was to make a chipboard tag using the new Jenni Bolin papers

and a ranger product.

I chose the perfect pearls applied to versamark on black

cardstock .

Also used distress inks and Tim's sanding block on the J B papers

which are great to distress.

The only problem was I got held up and didn't arrive in time for you to make the tags at 

 the Pink Ladies meet !

ooops !!!

mmmm ---- a piece of cake !!!

Actually a tiny tote

 made from five "slices " of a Moda layer cake !

Leaving thirty five ten inch squares to make

a lap quilt or a larger quilt if you sash it -----

or maybe you could make eight tiny totes

from the layer cake as Christmas gifts !!!

Lots of gorgeous moda fabric instore at Simply Create

and if you buy a layer cake I'll give you the pattern

(it's my design so no worries about copyright )

Rainy Day Sunday !!!!

Despite the weather being overcast  I had a message from my chum Kath

to say she had made it to the car boot sale

 so off I went to pay her a visit .

 By the time I arrived the heavens had well and truly opened

but fearlessly Kath and her son braved it out

and it thankfully did dry up.

   Me thinks I'll maybe give this carbooting  a try and start a crafty stash fund !!!
